
Pediatric Occupational Therapy helps individuals become more independent in life skills through play based therapy. Everything we do incorporates multi-sensory learning.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy helps facilitate academic readiness skills, activities of daily living, motor coordination, sensory processing skills and emotional regulation through experiential play.
Pediatric Occupational Therapy takes a holistic approach by treating the child, as well as, collaborating with parents and schools. Clients rangie in ages from 12 months to 13 years. Parent instruction Is another helpful tool.
Working on posture, core strength, endurance, handedness, visual-motor integration, handwriting and coordination
Helping children and adolescents learn how to deal with big feelings like anger, discomfort, frustration or worry in an appropriate way
Skills used every day to help focus attention, plan, organize, retain information and juggle multiple tasks
Fine Motor/Gross Motor and Visual Perceptual Skills
Behavioral Modification Plan and Sensory Diet
Re-evaluation done yearly

DownloadDevon attended Temple University for Occupational Therapy. She started practicing OT in the Baltimore Public School System. After a few years, she began working independently in collaboration with area schools, psychologists and pediatricians. Her practice grew and she has now worked within the Baltimore community for over 20 years. Throughout that time, she has helped many families navigate the difficult challenges of adolescence while celebrating their triumphs.
